Artapalian

Here is an Artapalian from the planet Artapol in the Ethurian solar system
Brought back to Earth by my great great Granddad the famous space explorer Nathanial B Cadgear in 1905
His mission was to explore the solar system to investigate signs of life picked up by a probe he sent some 6 years earlier.
The Artapalian ( or to give it it’s Latin name acidus ictus simianus) is a vicious little creature and very dangerous.
So dangerous in fact that Cadgear decided to put the creature in to a forced hibernation to protect himself and his crew.
The creature has a form of acid for blood, which it spits out of its nostrils into the eyes of it’s pray, blinding it instantly; it then injects acid from two fangs at the back of its mouth killing it pray in seconds.
Cadgear had to one of his robotic mosquitoes( Callist 5) to capture the creature, which injected glycol through a titanium drill bit in to the back of the creatures neck, this put it to sleep and is how it remains to this day; yes the creature is still alive!
Artapalians can live for 200 Earth years or 50 Artapol years.
